I just wanted to drop you a quick line regards an out of hours emergency that occurred at Westfield House on Friday evening, last week, 20.01.2017.
The cold water booster system failed at the development leaving all apartments with no water supply. Once I was aware of this I called the DMG out of hours helpline and notified my out of hours department.
Being as this was the first real emergency that occurred since the development was handed over I wasn’t sure how things were going to run. Thankfully for us all it went perfectly! Not even one minor problem or issue, the DMG helpline went straight through to a mobile that was answered and the engineer was already en route. I was kept informed and updated throughout the evening with the engineer sending his final update text message short after midnight! Dave Collins was also on hand and in communication with me throughout the evening which re-assured me even more that things were well in hand.
Under the circumstances (197 units with no water) I couldn’t of asked for more. DMG were absolutely fantastic attending site straight away and keeping everyone updated throughout the repair process. It was a breath of fresh air to work with such a professional contractor and supplier during an out of hours emergency, perhaps even the best I have experienced in my property management career.
