DMG Delta was proud to act as co-sponsor of the Charity Golf Day held at the Thorpe Hall Golf Course on June 1st, 2009. Organised by the Rotary Club of Thorpe Bay, the event was a huge success even in this tough economic climate. We attracted 184 players, who teed off at ten-minute intervals. The weather co-operated and some good scores were posted. But the real purpose of the day was to raise money for two local charities: the Southend Sunflower Trust and the Essex Fire Service charity. In the end, we raised a remarkable £7,500. Our thanks go to all the players and to our co-sponsors, who supported the event this year.
