Westminster School, London W1
Making water hygiene a priority at Westminster School with water treatment expertise
Situation: Westminster School operates from a group of listed buildings within Little Dean’s Yard adjacent to Westminster Abbey. They also operate from a number of satellite buildings in Dean’s Yard and around Westminster including a boat house at Putney. DMG Delta was given responsibility for assessing risks to water services, all monitoring and scheduled water treatments. To meet the challenge, we designed specific schedules of routine maintenance and monitoring which resulted in measurable improvement in hygiene standards across the main site and the additional buildings. To continue our progress, we work closely with the Westminster School Management Team to determine new areas to concentrate our efforts.
Outcome: By forging a solid partnership and operating through a single point of contact, we’ve been able to reduce confusion and improve communication as well as service quality. Budgets at the school are strict, and so is the need to meet standards for hygiene and water quality. Good communication is the key to better services and a fully compliant water supply.
