Health & Safety

Approved electrical contractors – registered gas engineers

health and safety approved electrical contractorsAt DMG Delta, we share one overriding Health & Safety goal: zero accidents. It’s that commitment that’s helped us become approved electrical contractors and registered gas safety inspectors. We’re experts in completing annual CP12 Gas Safety Inspections for landlords. Electrical Portable Appliance Testing (PAT testing) and fixed wire testing is all part of the service too.

We are recognised for our high standards in plumbing, water treatment and a range of other building maintenance areas. We make Health & Safety the responsibility of every employee, from our customer service associates to our senior managers. Before we make any decision, we look at the Health & Safety impact on people, property, equipment and materials. From risk assessments and safe working practices to guidelines for equipment and hazardous materials, we monitor and review to ensure compliance in every circumstance. Whether our engineers work alone or in teams, they observe every regulation.

The Safecontractor Scheme

Our Health & Safety policies, procedures, documentation and implementation meet the stringent guidelines and approval of the Safecontractor Scheme. This is backed by specialist accreditations for gas heating (Gas Safe Register which has replaced CORGI), oil heating (OFTEC), air conditioning (HVCA) and electrical installations (NICEIC), as well as active membership of the British Safety Council.

We’re working toward ISO 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management accreditation and all our Health & Safety managers are NEBOSH qualified and members of IOSH. It’s our policy to advise clients on their responsibilities and actively monitor as well as manage Health & Safety issues on their behalf. By emphasising communication and co-ordination, we can provide the most cost-effective project management and deliver the best solutions.

Effective training

We provide our engineers and managers with the training they need to stay up-to-date with the latest Health & Safety practices and statutes. Continuous supervision and six-monthly reviews are a key part of ensuring training is put into practice. Our engineers’ equipment is routinely tested and calibrated, so our clients can rest assured that we meet all legal requirements and best-practice standards.
